Hundreds of small color photographs of slightly different formats and sizes comprise a massive, imprecise grid, filling a long white wall in a wood-floored gallery. One third of the grid, just left of center, is dominated by black-backed images, while the remaining expanses reveal the white of the wall around each image. A faint, neon yellow band runs like a low horizon across the grid's full span, and five black-and-white photographs punctuate it at even intervals along a central horizon, each featuring two light-skinned hands resting palm-down on a dark ground.
