A single black-and-white photographic source image repeats neatly but intermittently across six rows against a white background, each instance tinted with either a different jewel-toned color or a distinct gray-scale tone. This recurring image frames the nose and lips of a light-skinned person, lit from above so that the shadows beneath their nose and mouth read almost like additional facial features.
