A casually misaligned eight-by-five grid of crackling, black-bordered photographic thumbnails against a painterly white background, like vintage slides laid out on a light box, framed in black and hung on a white wall. The grid is missing its lower left square, while the rest contain muted images of a commercial color scale strip, some pictured alongside a white person's hand or, in one square, a dollar bill.
